A combination of two fundamental ideas in physics, quantum mechanics and imaginary numbers, has the potential to radically change our conception of the cosmos. By infusing imaginary numbers, the quantities appearing outside the usual number line, with the mathematics of quantum physics, QCI Theory predicts the existence of a multitude of parallel realities, alternate dimensions with different laws of nature. Although rigorously founded in established mathematics and physics, QCI could significantly adjust our understanding of the universe, and what lies beyond.
